I mostly meet people on the dating app and I can get the text going pretty smoothly and ask to arrange the first date pretty soon. Then I meet and I try to go for a hug if he has open body language but if not, just a hand shake. I mostly arrange to go to a cafe or a bar depending on the time of the day. I try to use active listening to make him very engaged in the convo. So I let him talk a lot but some guys told me that I don't talk about myself too much. But like how?? All he does is yap and never ask questions to me..

Anyways I mostly ask to arrange the second date as soon as possible. After we meet again, I now try the escalations. Try to touch his hand, flirt a bit here and there, touch his shoulder and hang into his arms for a short time, etc. Then everything seems good and I can arrange the third date sometimes.

But the thing is, at this point the boy either says he doesn't see me as a romantic interest or either says he isn't ready for a relationship or blah blah. Like I don't get it. Was I too focused on the escalation and wasn't too genuine? Or did I try too much? I need help thanks.
