Seddit Hello.

I'm just going to jump right into it.

I'm a 28 y/o male. I'm happy with the way I look. I dress well. I'm fit. I'm single.

I broke up with my gf after a tumultuous on again off again relationship coming up on 3 months ago. I spent the time since then recovering. Vowing not to date until I was emotionally ready. And while I'm fairly sure I'm still recovering, I'm ready. It'll be 3 months of solidly doing my own thing by the end of the month. Now it's time to make moves.

I specifically want to approach. I've approached before (that's how I met a girl I dated for a few years and loved). My last girlfriend and I met on Tinder. I see nothing wrong with online dating. I think it's a great tool. But I'm afraid to approach, and I'm not willing to simply circumvent that fear. I'm going to deal with it head on.

So I'll be approaching. No online profiles. Just meeting people in person and going from there. That is my goal.

The point of this post is simply to state my intention and then do it. And I've started to try, but I've bitched out. I went out today after work and walked around my city for about an hour. There were plenty of beautiful girls, but I didn't approach. I watched. I walked by. I made up excuses. I'm tired of it.

I want to get rejected. I want to face the awkwardness, the uncomfortability. I want to sweat and panic and then fucking do it anyway.

I've spent many hours just walking around, trying to muster up the courage to talk to people but being unable to muster up the courage. Overanalyzing and subsequently disappointing myself. And while I doubt that will just change suddenly, it will change. I'm not giving up. I'm doing this. I'm approaching women, getting out of my comfort zone and enjoying myself whilst pushing myself.

So join me. If you're interested. If you want to approach but have a list of bullshit excuses why you can't/won't, AND you're tired of it, join me on this journey.

On a side note, I quit masterbating until I've approached at least one girl. That was last week. It's not getting any easier. That is all.
