I am trying to progress from one night stands and casual relationships to more serious dating. To the that effect, I've been trying to pursue the more conservative girls who are more about long term relationships than satisfying carnal desires.

Now, I've read all the material on day two's and how to make sure you do activities on your dates, and to make plans and invite her to them, etc. Only things is, I feel like my buying temp becomes lower the less serious I push to do things.

It is often the case where I'll try to to be spontaneous and outcome independent when inviting a girl, and I get a "no" usually for various time conflicts. Then I'll wait a few days, and similar conflict may arise, so we put it off again. The point I'm making is often my day twos and day 3's, 4's are too far apart to really build rapport and things either move at a snail's pace or dissipate entirely due to things taking so long. Some have told me that the strategy I used made it seem like I was interested in them at all. Any advice for me to make the happy medium between consistently pushing to do things without seeming like a needy AFC?
