Hi there,
I'm a fairly good looking guy, but I feel like I don't get as much attraction as I could due to the way I carry myself...
I'm quite a slim guy, and I think this means I give off a somewhat "timid" vibe. I'm going to the gym to bulk up a bit, but I still think there is a lot of room for improvement in my body language.
Does anyone know any good resources/books to help with this? I've checked out the Joe Navarro (What EveryBODY is Saying) and Alan/Barbara Pease (Definitive Book of Body Language). These books seem mainly about reading others body language, rather than improving your own. They also seem to be focused on business settings.
I'd love to learn how to carry myself properly -- when I stand, when I walk, when I sit. Confident, attractive body language in common scenarios.
Facial expressions, too, as I think (again) that I give off slightly awkward, timid facial expressions. For example, I'm aware I bite my inner cheek more often than I'd like, and I give half hearted smiles rather than big, full ones.
I'd love to work on improving these awkward facial "ticks" and improve my unconfident body language. However, they're so far ingrained into me, I think this will take a LOT of conscious effort to get where I want. Any resources to follow or teach the process would be very much appreciated!
Cheers guys
