You are at a bar, walk up to a girl, and for various reasons, she rejects you. Now pause time right at this moment. How do you perceive what just happened? Oh man I'm not good looking enough for her. I'm not tall enough for her. She's a shallow cunt-ness monster. Or oh she must not have good taste haha...
You see, how you perceive the situation has a big impact in your internal chemistry, in your thoughts, in your emotions, in your body language, and ultimately almost everything about you.
This way of thinking applies to everything not just women, but with people you meet, with the weather, with everything in your life man!
We all know its fuking hard to think a certain way and mean it all the while trying to stay consistent. Its not something you turn on and off. Its not something that happens after a few mediation cycle. Its not a quick change. Its something you will fuking have to word hard for! You have to constantly work towards that goal.
So how do we start? It starts from mindful thinking. What that means is simply be present to the current situation. Notice whats happening around you. Notice the body language of the person you are talking to. Notice your body language, your breathing. Notice the distance between the tree and sidewalk. Notice everything. With that in mind, next time a event happens to you, good or bad or netural, realize that it has happened, the universe has somehow aligned to create that exact event to happen at that exact time for your ass. Now take that event and instead of the usual way of thinking, interpret it a different way(maybe you'll choose positive/funny interpretation). But just do it. You don't have to truly believe your interpretation. And most likely you probably wont at first. But this little change, man of fucking man, accumulate this way of thinking for more and more events, and watch how your outlook on life changes.
From now on, I want you to be mindful. Think about what is happening at this moment, look around, look at your computer, look at its design, just notice everything!
I hope this has helped someone. I know life is hard, but you have taken the step to better yourself and your life! I sure still have a long damn way to go, heck sometimes it feels like I've gone backwards, but you just have to keep trying and pushing, you just have to.
Credits for the idea is given to Tony Robbins. Heard it in youtube.
Nutty, out.
