Below is an IM conversation with one of my female friends who has been dating a lot. Her stories amuse me, and give some good insights on how you SHOULDN'T act on dates.

Me: so any interesting dates over the weekend?

HotFriend: yes, I saw Brandon again & we went to dinner. He was all gooshy & doting over me & it was ridiculous. Well it was cute at first, he brought me flowers (he lives in NYC), but then during dinner he kept saying (again like last time) how happy he was to see me & what a good time he was having.

Me: hmmm yeah, i've made that mistake in the past

HotFriend: and then he wanted to kiss me in the restaurant. I said no. it's a freakin restaurant w/ older couples... oh and did I mention it's a restaurant?

Me: bahaha

HotFriend: And then Sunday night I got 3 texts from 1:40am - 2am about how much he likes me & I make him happy. (this is after 2 dates, and the night I met him NYE).

Me: ooo yeah, stage 5 clinger…I’ve kissed my girl in a restaurant though, her eyes told me she wanted it

HotFriend: So I didn't respond & then got 1 more @ 10:30am clearing things up- Which just made me more furious so I ended it last night. He was shocked & sad. but seriously. and no, he wanted to MAKE OUT not just a quick kiss. at dinner

Me: hahaha

HotFriend: moron, super nice guy, but I can't deal with that needy. jeesh! I need a Man, not a baby. the end :)
