Little background. I recently was addicted to opiates. While on them I could do anything. I was fucking the hottest girls. Never felt awkward. So confident and invincible. I am now 2 weeks sober and never going back. But it feels like I need to start all over with everything. I am trying to be the way I was without drugs. It's been rough but I won't quit.

Anyway. I don't get approach anxiety and I don't want to say that I never know what to say. I start with usual openers. But at first all my interactions feel so boring and awkward. I'm a very fun. Outgoing. Dude who can be an asshole. But I find it hard to show my true self from the start. It takes a couple times talking to a person to get there. And when I first meet a girl. I get nervous. I never used to be like that. But I find it's hard to come out and talk about sex and flirt. When I'm first meeting someone in public. Unless I'm drunk at a bar. Anyone else have this problem?

TL;DR all my interactions feel awkward at first. It's hard to show my true outgoing personality at first. It takes a couple times till I cn get comfortable
