So I have a huge crush on a girl at my gym for a few months now. We follow the same courses at the same time, she's a bit older than me and she is like super fit (definetly a 9 or 10, way out of my leage, but anyway...).

I'm confortable being next to her, talking, joking with her like with anyone else in the course. I just can't find my way to ask her out... Maybe I'm finding myself excuses, but it never feels like the right time or right conversation. Furthermore, we never are just the two of us, so flirting while people are around is a bit harder for me.

However, yesterday, there was a new girl waiting on the side (also very pretty!). I politely said "hi" and we engaged conversation together. The feeling grew great pretty fast ! We ended up talking A LOT ! She was also standing super close to me, it was almost uncomfortable! She said she had a boyfriend, but she seemed so engaged in the conversation with me that I had a hard time believing it.

Long story short, I was pretty confident during this exchange with a perfect stranger and felt like I could have asked her out or her number with ease if I wanted to. This messes me up because I wish it would be that easy with my crush, but somehow it's not!

Am I putting too much pressure on myself by thinking about her as a crush ? Is it just that ? Or maybe I'm not at ease because of something else I can't see ? Like she's not into me ?
