Upon trying to reflect and analyse the times when I've done well with the opposite sex, I come to the same conclusion: I wasn't thinking about any courtship shit that I'd read, I wasn't torturing myself about what I did right or wrong, I was just allowing myself to be guided by the energy and acting however came naturally, almost as if it were destiny (though really just a bunch of biochemicals bubbling around telling us we should fuck).

I find that whenever I binge on the pick up advice - how to approach, what NOT to do, how to get physical, how to be better at sex and so on it all ends up backfiring and I become stilted and unnatural - not only that but I become a LOT harder on myself and have a lot less fun in the process, and undoubtedly that comes across to whoever I'm with.

There are little morsels of wisdom that help - such as how to pass a 'shit test' by playing it cool or subverting the question to make her look silly - but in general most advice just ends up cluttering my mind.

It seems that a lot of pick up coaches (damaged sex addicts?) try to make it seem as though you have to crack the fucking Da vinci code to find any success with women. If that's so, why are half my female friends dating guys who I would describe as being anything but the archetypal high value man? Self-improvement is something we should all be committed to anyway of course, so that shouldn't come as a revelation to anyone here.
