I met a girl at a party Halloween weekend. She was drunk and seemed pretty into me. We ended up making out the whole time.

A few days later, I saw her at a dance. We chatted and danced, but nothing else.

Last week, I asked her out, and we had a date at her place and fooled around a bit.

However, it feels hard to "talk" to her when not in person. She takes forever to respond to my texts. And she doesn't really initiate anything via texts or chat.

It feels like mixed signals to me. If she were into me, wouldn't she respond more eagerly?

I end up worrying if I'm coming off as over-eager myself, since I'm always the one initiating.

I don't want to seem needy, but I don't want to seem uninterested either. Where's the sweet spot between the two?
