Hey guys,

I been out of the game for awhile, but recently back in. I recently went on a date with a girl, and I'm a bit perplexed on the current situation. We matched on hinge, and I opened up and was very direct with her to say the least, which see reciprocated. Looked like she was moving for school soon so I asked to take her on a date before she leaves to which she once again recriprocated very positively.

We end up going on a date this last Friday. Had some drinks and talked for about 1-2 hours, before playing minigolf. There was super loud music where we played minigolf, so it was hard to conversate, but we had a great conversation before. I just never really escalated physically since we were sitting across from each other, so I didn't really get the confidence to like hold her or anything while she was putting, rather just occasonal shoulder pats. Golf ends and I walk her back to her car. Didn't really seem like she wanted to hold hands ( would this be normal on first date?) So we just talk. Start talking about music/raves so I'm showing her videos from my phone and get my arm around her shoulder kinda but nothing too crazy. Eventually get to her car and I give her a hug and no kiss.

This was essentially because we never really physically escalated, so I got in my head and played it safe. Like I said, I've been out of the game for awhile, but essentially all the first dates I've gone on that went good, I kissed them at the end. So I cant help but think that I maybe fucked up, especially since we had such a good time talking to each other. Regardless, I text her if she made it home safe, which she replied " Yes, Thank you! I had a good time :)" I said "me too:)" and sent her a video of this piano cover from a movie we talked about loving, which i said "sooo gooood" At that point it was already 11:30, and she didn't reply back. In the morning, I saw that she had "replied" but it was just thumbs upping it or whatever. Obviously not the response I wanted. I waited until the end of the day to maybe see if she would say something, but she didn't so eventually i ask her what her schedule is lookin like next week. As I mentioned, she's moving for school soon, the 20th, to be exact, so I'm trying to get some shit goin before then. She then replied a day later (last night) saying "I'm pretty occupied during the week and I'm going to a wedding this weekend"

Before she had sent this, I honestly just assumed that she ghosted me, but I'm not sure if this is just her trying to be nice instead? In general I was slightly thrown off on the date. I say this because I was very upfront and inherently sexual with her on hinge, paired along with the fact that she is moving to another state soon, I figured she could be down first date. Like i said not much physical escalation, but we had an amazing conversation, I was making her laugh, and we had a lot of similarities. So I figured ok, she probably just doesn't do that on the first date, and she also allegedly had to drive ~2hours to a city in the morning after the date. But her only "liking" the video, as well as her response to her schedule, makes me assume she's not interested. I will say that we were talking about her schedule in general on the date, and she does seem very busy since she's a grad student, and obviously a wedding is more important than me, but I would think if she was actually interested, she would still make time, or at least suggest a time next week. Ultimately figured I would pop on here to get your guys opinions. Fire away.
