so i started a job at a bar and grill style place (in college). Naturally most of the girls there already are in relationships, but a couple good ones are not. I asked one to go to dinner with me (pretty confindently i might add) and she said yes. Originally i asked her for a monday or wednesday dinner. I knew that I had to train to work the bar on monday, but judging how my previous training went i didnt think it would take very long, but i made the fact that I had work obligations very clear. regardless, she pushes for a monday dinner (after my shift). Naturally, my shift winds up being way longer than I thought, and I do not get off in time for dinner. She shows up and just kinda chills at the bar (nothing wrong with that since she works there too) but still i cant help but feel as if shes waiting for me since there is no one else there. Eventually I get off and apologize for making her wait, and we talk and chill for a little while longer. I reschedule our dinner for wednesday to which she agrees. But as wednesday comes around she cancels!! what is she thinking, why would she say yes more than one time to a dinner? (and what i mean by that is I wanted wednesday for dinner and she wanted monday, even tho I made it fully clear that monday could prove problematic, for which she should totally understand because she works there too, and yet even after all that she then subsequently said yes to the wednesday rescedule!)

Im not putting too much thought into it, in fact I have had a couple dates lined up for later in the week anyway, just really weird situation that I do not understand....
