I was just randomly thinking today about the topic of "weakness." A lot of the posts on here mention stuff such as how women use shit tests as a way weeding out of men. Because they have to weed out somehow right? I read a post earlier about how a guy who was in a emotional state of distress due to his fathers recent passing, and he bared his soul to a girl who was his friend (a friend who WAS attracted to him, the post was actually the girls!). But seeing the guy she liked crying and stuff like that caused her to lose all attraction for him. Obviously, their relationship was not ready for emotions of that level, and she bailed.

The reason I bring it up is that I feel almost as if I am the exact opposite of this. When I find out a big monumental detail of a girls past, for some reason it makes me even more attracted to her. sort of an "im impressed youre still standing and still seem and act relatively normal" response. Seeing something so "real" inside them really affects me for some reason. Naturally, women will most likely only reveal details of this nature if they feel close to you (and you guessed it... this has led to some friendzone/one-itis problems for me). I guess what im asking is do any other men ever feel this way? Do men weed out for weakness too? Or is this just a flaw that I really need to get over in order to achieve more success? Should I "flee" from women who may have issues, or should I embrace it and try to escalate at another time, since id imagine that the sharing of a troubled past probably notes that she is "not in the mood" at the current time?

and i guess as a move overarching theme. If men and women weed out for weakness, but I dont weed out women for weakness....is there just something strangely wrong with me? lol
