I can’t believe I’m writing a post like this at one in the morning. I’ve always been a really optimistic guy and just always knew I could achieve anything I set my mind to if I work hard enough and put in the time. And it was the same with game or whatever you want to call it. But guys I’m getting so f****** discouraged.

I had some decent success with women in college and in my early to mid 20s that I didn’t really have to work for. 4 Relationships with really attractive girls were just kind of dropped in my lap. I definitely didn’t have any game, was pretty dang awkward, and had really bad acne, but somehow still did pretty well.

Fast forward to my early to mid 30s. I’m not a millionaire, but I’m doing pretty well financially. I’ve gotten much more socially calibrated, have much better energy, and even understand some rudimentary game. I’m in pretty good shape. My skin cleared up. I am fairly tall and decent looking. I’m bald, but I guess that’s my only main drawback looks wise. And I’m just freaking striking out constantly now guys.

I think I’m feeling especially discouraged because now I’m comparing myself to my buddy. He’s not great looking, average at best. Nice down to earth dude but certainly nothing special. And he is getting date after date after date with really attractive girls in their early mid 20s. He’s also in his late 20s so that’s probably part of it… But I can’t help but feel jealous and really discouraged that I will ever get the kind of girl I want again.

Has anyone who has had to start over in their 30s been here? Have you felt this way? Does it get better? Or did you just give up and decide to settle for girls you’re not as attracted to? I keep hearing in the man sphere how when you’re in your mid 30s and your money is right, your body is right, you have a good career and a social circle, That it just comes easy. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. I have all those things, I’m going out often, and my friends are doing so much better than me. Just looking for advice, encouragement, and just similar stories to mine that hopefully had a better outcome.
