I'm a college guy. Basically, I was talking with a male friend, when two girls in our class came up to us. One of them, we'll call her P, I've met in a party.

I introduced myself to the other girl, we'll call her B. We shook hands, and I asked how they knew each other (P and B)

Then P and I started talking about the party where we met each other. She started talking about how me and the guys were coming off really strong to two girls at the party. I joked, smiled, and said "aww I felt like we left you out" and patted her shoulder. It's worth mentioning this is the second time I met or have touched her, the first time being a high five.

She smiled but the other two people seemed a bit surprised by what I did.

It seemed like it was the right thing to do at that point. If this was done in a more private place I doubt it'd be a problem, but the fact that I did so in the group made the touch seem a bit out of the ordinary.

Thoughts? How do you kino in groups (basically four people standing around in a circle on a train).
