Don't do that, it's awkward. You're essentially saying "I can only kiss you if I trick you into it". Confidence is kissing her when she can see it coming.

If you're playing some kind of game or something anywhere during the date, just make a bet on it. Sometimes I say the if I win I get a kiss, or if she's shy I'll say loser gets to choose the stakes. If she loses, she'll usually be like "i dunno what you win, you choose". Bam, you get to decide either way.

But seriously, this is kinda gimmicky and isn't universally applicable. You just have to be good enough at reading IOI's to know when you'll most likely succeed.

If things are going well, she seems comfortable with me being close, I like to do this while we're on the date: during a lull in the conversation, just look at her. She will likely look up at you and hopefully you'll lock eyes for a moment. Don't say anything, just smile a little. She will probably ask "what?" or something along those lines, but she knows what's going on. Instead of answering, just go in for the kiss.

A few things... make it in a relatively private area. Not the middle of the restaurant. Your car or her doorstep can work, but I don't like those as much. Not as romantic/original. If she turns just her face away when you're looking at her, don't get discouraged. Just move in for the kiss, and use your hand to gently turn her face to you, and go for it.

How this goes will all depend in the rapport you've built and how comfortable she is with you. Always better to try and suffer a moment of slight awkwardness than to miss out.
