There is too much advice based on throwing yourself into the middle of everything and sweating the results. You don't have to go "all in" at any particular point. That's an errand in foolishness. Go out and observe. Go to a club, just sit back and observe. Take in the process and THEN act on it. Don't go in stabbing at it. You don't have to do that. MOREOVER you don't have to do that at ANY point in your life. Go to venues and be the observer first and then act on that.
