I was out shooting some small event (I do photography). I'm fresh off a break up of 3 years and have very little dating experience (I dated one girl for 6 years then this girl for 3). I see a girl also taking photos for press and I (with 3 beers in me) approached her and started talking about photography and her job and shit.

Since I was working the event I was getting free beer and I offered her one, she politely said no thank you that she wouldn't be there that long. Despite saying this she stayed almost to the end and we kept bumping into eachother and I tried to make a little small talk.

Right before she left I asked if she had a business card, and that I would be interested in checking out more of her photography. She gave me one and then to make this short gave me her phone to follow me on instagram.

During this trading of info a band was playing and I was a bit intoxicated. She told me to talk to her about something (maybe photography, maybe her major) but couldn't hear it and just smiled and played it of because I could tell she was trying to leave and didn't want to pull a drunken hey could you repeat that. Also during this she asked my age and then briefly brought up how people thing she is younger because she is shy (I'll bring this up in a bit).

So anyway I did what you guys say to do, I called her the next day. Nope not a text, or an email or whatever. I called her, and left a voice message. I'm not the best a voice messages, but it sounded like any old voice message I'd leave for anyone. I said who I was, that It was nice meeting her and that it would be cool if I could discuss more about her major over maybe coffee or something soon.

Welp event happened two days ago and no call. She's still following me on instagram and I have not followed back. I'm wondering if me saying to give me call back might have been to intimidating.

Is it still okay to text her at this point? To give her a chance at not having to call me back? or will that come off as to pushy and just let this go. Regardless I'm still happy because I never really got a chance to play the single game and I feel I did my best.
