Last night I was just sitting alone but in a somewhat crowded part of the bar when I was joined by a set of girls. The one who sat closest to me was very open to conversation and eventually another set of girls joined me on the other side.

It got me thinking, how could I maximise the potential for this to happen? Other than looking good ofcourse. It seems that on most nights I can recall different ways in which a girl has indirectly came to me but I haven't picked up on it. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that I'm always solo.

One of my biggest issues is the dance floor. I always feel weird just standing around and not actually dancing because I don't want to look like one of the chodes but when I try to force myself to dance it's pretty cringe. I try to stay in one spot and just vibe but I feel really stiff and I'm not even sure where I'm supposed to be looking but I guess the main thing is to enjoy myself.

Really I'm just tired of approaching and failing and I want to get better at being able to catch signals and notice them because I'm finding that cold approaching puts you in a losing race and it's too hard to come back.
