Just take your chances with the one you like more. You haven’t done anything with the second girl so its still all fair play. If you keep going for the one you’re not attracted to you’re doing both her and yourself a disservice in the long run.

My main issue is that I have a year long class with both of them, or do you think that doesn't matter?

Its a factor, not to the same extent as if it were a coworker, but it could still make it a bit awkward if it ends badly. As with everything, its a matter of weighing the risks and the potential benefits.
