Many - including those in this subreddit - have been in your position my friend. Start by improving yourself first. Hit the gym, get in shape, become comfortable with yourself. Read the sidebar, as there is a lot of helpful information in there for beginners and you need a solid foundation before continuing. Never stop improving yourself (physically, mentally, emotionally).

Agree with other replies. Step one, you need to feel like you've improved something about yourself, and it's that something that you will draw on when you talk to people (not just girls btw!).

Hit the gym. Assess your fashion sense. Ask for female friends/family's honest opinions on your hairstyle, clothing, body language. Watch yourself in the mirror. Perfect your cheeky smile, your broad grin, your listening intently face. Sounds crazy but it fucking works.

This isn't meant to emphasise that game is all looks, because we know it's not, but the inner sense or worth (and confidence) comes from self improvement, feeling as though you have value and demonstrating that value.

Now you look and feel the best you can possibly be, talk to people. Look at David Wygant's stuff. He emphasises that true inner game comes from BEING a sociable, open, friendly character, not just being a learned PUA with set routines.

Talk to everyone. People on park benches, in shops, supermarkets, post office, in queues, the barman, the man walking his dog. Please trust me after a while it becomes so incredibly natural to talk to women in any setting.

Jen you get to this point, where you freely talk to strangers, even if it's a passing comment, hit the game theory. Learn the advanced stuff.

Have you approached? Do you go out? If not, we cant tell you any more than "go do those two things, a lot". If so and it isnt yielding anything, be more specific.

If you are afraid of either, the only advice Ive got is "sack up". Shit in life is yours to take, either do or dont.
