Cant help you as I am in the U.S. But i did have a question. I've heard Shanghai women "wear the pants" in all male/female relationships. What they say is the way its going to be. Is there any truth to that? And if so, why? Is it there culture?

I speak ZERO Chinese.

First hookup: randomly wandering around Wudaouko one day. Passed by Helen's and saw a pretty Korean/Chinese girl give me the eye. Too busy to stop so I continued on my way. She was still there when I passed by again some 20 minutes later. She invited me to join her, but I had ipad business to attend to. Ordered a beer and ignored her until I was finished. I finally invited her to join me. 5 minutes later, she reached down and introduced herself to Big Jim and the twins. Fun times ensued.

Second hookup: Starbucks. Saw a young lady reading a GRE preparation book. Passed on some advice regarding graduate school in the USA and my email. Some 7 months later, she randomly called and requested a meet. Met up at Starbucks near my house. Long story short, she had selected me as the right guy to retire her V card.

If a NON ... singing/drinking/smoking/white old fart like me can get this action without even trying - y'all have NO excuse.

My advice: Do No Harm, But Take No Shit. Go out, have fun, look females in the eye, smile and wink. A little Han Solo/Lando Calrissian attitude can't hurt.
