I have only felt this phenomenon 3 times in my life. Seeing an old crush, first glimpse of a girlfriend in a stunning dress and yesterday at the mall with a random stranger.

the first 2 times it's self explanatory almost but yesterday I was completely caught off guard by a woman who ran a store in the mall asking if I needed help. I completely froze up for about 3 seconds before I answered and I felt a huge adrenaline rush that I didn't notice at the time but saw I was trembling later.

eye contact can be huge! I immediately shyed away and looked down and I am pretty sure I was blushing. does anyone know why this is so exclusive and why we react this way to individuals that we don't even know?
