The smile and "thank you" is pretty standard

If you genuinely appreciate the compliment you could try the "aww you're making me blush" with a smile on your face. It adds a fun tone to the conversation, shows that you appreciate the compliment and gives you opportunity to carry on the conversation.

When someone gives yoj a compliment say:

"Oh thank you haha, how do you mean?"

As in, thank them for the compliment first, then ask what they made them give the compliment. Then you can actually have a really nice conversation. With girls, you can get them to tell why they are into you. That's a huge thing for girls, so they might become a bit embarassed. For that reason, be really nice about it, but also a bit persistent. When they tell you, give them a small compliment back. Then get their number. ;)
