So I’m gay (34f) and I just had a nice first date with a 38f that I have a ton in common with. We both agreed to see each other again. I asked if I could see her upcoming show and she sent me a link to buy tickets. We spent a lot of the date talking about how it can be hard as a feminine presenting queer women to flirt with other women without it feeling ambiguous (is she just being nice? etc) when the date ended we hugged and it lingered. When we broke from the hug the touch on the arm lingered, lots of smiling…all good signs.

I wanted to call her later tonight to ask a question about buying my ticket, and was thinking of also saying something like - “I like to be un-ambiguous with these things, and even though we still have lots of getting-to-know-each-other to do, I think you’re cool and beautiful and I’m totally attracted to you. I just wanted to put that out in the open”

Should I do this? Or should I just leave it be? Does it show confidence/initiative? Or is it too much?

Thanks!
