People with high value don't have to prove it by their high priced toys.
Example: Jonny Ive has a chauffeur driven Bentley. That is congruent with his sensibility as a designer, he collects cars. Tim Cook has a BMW 5 series sedan (MSRP max $75k).

Having a nice car but not telling anyone is a DHV. Bragging about a nice car, if you can afford it or not, is a DLV. There is a LOT of value in acting like things are just things.
Reminds me of something a friend of mine said. It was something along the lines of "you know you have made it when you fly in private jets and you don't feel the need to post it on instagram."
When someone asks what kind of car you have, for example, here are two possible responses: 1) "I have a 2017 Mercedes G63" 2) "I have an SUV"
Answer #1 is thirsty Answer #2 has a lot of value when they actually find you drive a $150K SUV
A major company CEO, presumably publicly traded where salaries are public information, has higher value driving a modest car to work. For most line-level employees, overt displays of wealth by executives are not motivating.

Having a nice car and not telling anyone is DHV due to the nice car or not getting reactive to the nice car?

Having a nice car and not telling anyone is a huge DHV when you later go out to your car, she sees you have an expensive one, and you didn't need to use it as a crutch. The value is all in acting like it is not a big deal to you.

The five DHV you should attach are pre-selection, leader of men, protector of love ones, willingness to emote and risk taker. Don't think owing a car have any DHV value than if you talk about your ex driving you car or something.

Those aren't DHVs, you're getting your jargon mixed up. Those are called "attraction triggers."
