Imagine the following scenario: You open a girl buying groceries, you connect right away with her since you both share similar tastes when it comes to food so you talk for about 30 minutes over a range of topics. You get a solid number from that interaction.

Now imagine what would have happened if you had only 1 minute to talk to her. Do you think the number would be as solid or not? Maybe talking endlessly is a waste of time since the first impression is all that matters, maybe getting the number in a minute and going away is a better use of your time since you could get the same results. Maybe girls are still scared after the emotions from the initial approach are gone.

From my limited experience of about 100 approaches, I have a strong opinion on this.

What do you guys think, is the first impression all that matters? Is it better to get 5 quick numbers or 1 solid number during the same period of time? Share your experiences!
