I'll try that next time. Yea i'm pretty used to getting shot down lol it doesn't phase me too much I was just curious about this because I was simply trying to make some friends.

the way this FR is told makes it sound very weird. Was she sitting next to you but talking to someone else as she was looking away? or was she just speaking low and looking away but meaning to talk to you?
If it was the latter, at the very least you could've just said "speak up a little, it's called inside voice not silent voice" or something to that effect. Slight neg, but playful. This FR is just odd though, any more details and I'll be glad to give more input

She had just walked in and sat next to me. She wasn't talking to anyone else so I said "hello". She made it a point that she didn't want to talk to me though.
