A lot of advice here really tries to get you to identify patterns over reasonable numbers.

You can't say "no women will talk to me" with serious conviction if you've only tried approaching 2 and had both ignore you. Sure, the statement is logically true, but you need a larger dataset to work with before you can identify potential problems.

However, sometimes you can get emotional over the simplest of exchanges. Feelings of rejection can prevent you from moving forward at a pace that is productive. Instead, you're stuck with several months of emotional recovery, which slows your progress to a crawl.

For example, I've probably only been able to date 5-6 women a year because each time I try to move on, I'm really just covering up feelings from the last one. I lack the ability to be genuinely in the moment because my mind will not stop obsessing over the last girl.

I'm not asking for a solution. I really don't think there is one. I'm just curious if others have had this issue.
