How to open when walking in opposite directions?

Holy shit at all these chump ass indirect questions. My two fall back openers for this situation.

"hey! You with the face.... yeah, you! (tone change from fun to seductive) you look very interesting, who are you?" this one has humor, a hook, you're validating her, and showing you're funny/confident.

Alternatively, if I'm feeling really confident:

Step in front of her (kinda to her side, don't wanna be to confrontational.)

"Wow, you're really cute (beautiful works too), I would've kicked myself if I didn't talk to you" This is a huge display of confidence, as most other guys would ask her some stupid ass question to get her attention.

Why direct over indirect? Filters out all the women who don't like you, so all you have to do is f-close in the future.

If you are opening the set on a street or at a mall, you have time on your hands and you know the town/area, ask a direction that leads you to the same way as the girl. First you stop her of corse but after you can start walking with her to the same direction and keep on going with the conversation.

(The following is just one example, not a routine, how it could be possible to pull off... Just to make the point clear)

Something like:

Guy: Hello, do you happen to know where is the "something something" theater (or coffee house or bar or what ever). Girl: Uh... Yeah... It is that way "and instructions" (Sometimes when they give instructions they make big motions and pointing places, replicating those motions usually gives you more natural form and confident look... If the girl might be playful or you just feel confident enough, you can tease her a bit about that if it looks funny) Guy: Oh yeah, so you are going that way too, cool, can you help me with one more thing... (just a contributing example) (Some simple routine. This is to take her away from the "guide role". Explain why you are going there. This can also be FAST DHV Story, but remember you do this all just to get to know the girl, not to tell shit about yourself... take the conversation to her)

When your ways separate, remember to build even a bit of kino if not yet achieved. Hand on the lower back when double checking the route or something like that. People tend to have shields high in public places during the day, so she might have not give you clear IOI's about the situation, so sometimes it is just best to almost end the whole situation and just at the last moment say something like Guy: "You know what... You just brightened up my day... mmmm what was your name?" Girl: "Fishface" Guy: "Yes, Fishface... I think we should meet up at a coffee sometime."

Then mystery technique to lead her to give you her number...

(I don't speak English as my native language so bear with me.) Also kind of like tips to dicks answer, because I assumed you are a guy.

Its all about reading her, if shes busy, doesnt seem up for it theres nothing more than that.

Do not automatically think they are busy.

In fact even if they are busy, if they are into you they will make time.

You have nothing to lose, if she rejects you she is just a another passer by

There is one I like to use besides 'Hi' with a smile (which is the best line out there), is 'mytuppence.' I get surprised looks, then I say, 'That way you have a name for the handsome guy who stopped you to talk' ....[or whatever you decide to use instead of talk]

I have used, 'You are too beautiful for me not to say anything'. This lets them know you are interested in them sexually from the get go. This is good as well.

You should stop in front of them and turn your body towards them, but I don't recommend blocking their path, before you say any of this. This lets them know that you want to talk and not just a passing comment.

The Yad-stop:

Let her pass, then turn and jog past her, stopping her with your body language (standing in front of her, hands forward), and tell her she's dressed really well, and that she has good style or something (just a simple, matter-of-fact compliment) and then ask her name.

You know why it seems like you're interrupting them? Because you are in fact interrupting them. People are busy, they have schedules, places to be and people to see. The most you'll get out of these situations is very light friendly but brief conversation. Play your cards right and you may get a number.

Bottom line is that there is nothing wrong with trying to open up women in public (even if walking in the opposite direction), especially, to get over approach anxiety. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on this and just incorporate into your game as another play you can use on the fly.

Personally, I love situational openers. So opening people up in the general vicinity that I'm in has worked well because it provides material that is immediately relatable.

I like to pass them after assessing if I want to approach. Usually give it a couple seconds, make the decision to open, then back track and run from behind, pass them from the side by like 5 feet (enough for them to slow and stop) and plant myself in front of them with my hands in front of me (around stomach level) with a stop gesture. Then I open directly by saying they're cute or whatever and I wanted to talk to them. then quick convo and close.
