First off, I'd like to say Ive been a long time lurker, and seddit saved me from losing my confidence while also helping me shape my life for the better.

Ive got a fairly high level of confidence, Im a sociable guy and fairly well liked, but I still get pretty damn nervous when seeing someone or something for the first time, such as a really cute girl I'd like to approach. So back on topic here, I was confident but sometimes shaken when seeing a huge obstacle and starting to doubt myself.

Today as I was washing my hands (I glare at only myself in the mirror sometimes just cause), I reached for the towel on the rack behind me. Trying to stare at myself while doing it made me stumble and miss the first few times, but when I closed my eyes and tried I easily grabbed the towel since in my mind I knew where it was.

My point being that I realized seeing an obstacle or in seddits case, a cute girl, shouldn't shake my game or make me have doubts. I know where I'm at and will strive to get better so why would I let my eyes handicap me here?

Thought I'd share this with you guys, thanks for reading.
