I am 19, male. Went to the cinema today. Girl checking the tickets was cute and had a sweet voice. As I was waiting for my friend I thought I should talk to her, just for a few minutes. I wouldn't have done it but some quick CBT later I was chatting with her.

Gave her a genuine compliment on her voice. She said she thought her voice wasn't good, I said I thought it is. Anyways, stood there spoke to her for a minute about movies and whether she's a student at the university (like me), told her I'm trying to get to know people outside of the university.

Throughout the movie I thought I should ask her out. My heart was racing before I did, but I quickly got over it, went up to her, said hi again and asked if she's got a boyfriend.

She said, "I do actually." I replied, "Ah, too bad, I would've taken you out anyway." [a line I picked up from seduction community as a response, maybe not fitting in this context]

Said nice meeting you (her name), my name is (slim shady). Have a good day, bye.

I just feel glad that I took some action. Even more so because I actually wanted to talk to her, not just get a task accomplished for the day.
