I have messed up so many opportunities with girls over the phone. Specifically texting. I'm 19 so i'm typically required to use it. I just recently weirded a chic out because I texted her some nonsensical paragraph in my half-sleep at 1:30am. I have no big issues with IRL interactions but for some reason the ease of texting and the separation of consequence has me sending ridiculous messages that get me in trouble. So I made a list of texting rules I wanted to share with you guys.

Rules of texting for webdux: 1- Don't converse. Every text should be like a call. Have an objective in mind. I want to ask her out for Dinner on Friday. Or invite her to an outing with some of my friends. When texting you miss valuable social information like , her mood, her tone, and also the fear of saying something stupid. It's very easy to type something out and hit send without recognizing the context, or the consequences. Get her to meet you or do something with you. Do not try and "seduce" her over text.

2 - Try and match the length of her texts. If she really wants to speak with you she probably won't send you a message saying "K". Just like matching body language watch her texting "effort" to gauge how you should reply. If you cannot match, type shorter not longer.

3 - NEVER send multi-page texts. Not acceptable in any situation. If something requires that much explanation call her. If she doesn't want to talk leave a voicemail to ask for a return call or explain in the message.
