Small talks and casual flirting happen anywhere, from a gym to an office. But intimate convos and the “deeds” are usually done outside those settings.

Before you get to that phase you gotta make sure that she’s more than willing to entertain the idea of going out with you (as women who already went out with guys are not even 100% warranted to be intimate afterwards). Yes, there are phases or processes like in any other things in life.

Just a recent example:

My colleague and I had bantered and playfully teased with each other lots of time at work. Until the other day I casually brought up to her we should go out sometime as the previous convo was about cool places to hang out.

Then she just tried to over-explain it to me on why she can’t, like details of her busy schedule. I was like, it’s cool no worries. So teasing and bantering with her all this time -even some sexual innuendos initiated by her- was just a waste of time from my pov, and from hers maybe it’s just validating/thrill seeking behavior. I just cut her loose afterwards. No need to waste anymore time.
