You aren’t fat but aren’t fit. Be honest with yourself. This can have an impact on your self-esteem. If a girl is “fuck yes” she will not respond “late” (often). You are in a negative reinforcement loop right now. You know people don’t want to talk to you, so the type of conversation you have will be boring not engaging no energy and then boom the other person either ghosts you or you need to reach out and I’m guessing when and if they reply you need to rack your brain with ways to keep the convo going. When that happens the loop completes itself and you reinforced your inability to make friends. Break the cycle! Assume anyone you approach wants to connect with your awesome self!!

Work on listening and asking questions, don’t insert your own opinions, experiences or advice unless asked for, don’t judge and try to really listen and put yourself in the others’s shoes and try to find out how they feel about things and why from an authentic point of view, don’t ask standard questions ask how things made them feel, if they would have waned to do something different, those kinds of things. If you can give people that feeling of someone really listening to them they will connect with you. Another thing, be someone that gives value, have a plan to do something fun, organize things, take initiative, bring food, dont be on your phone and give people your full attention edit: I just realized you are talking about texting and not real life. If you are talking dating apps that’s a whole different world and you don’t try to “befriend” women on dating apps that’s not what they are there for so that won’t work, the way to befriend them is first get them interested and than don’t pull the trigger and fuck up. Edit2: what are you interested in yourself what are you passionate about? Talk about that. It can be your fucking dungeons and dragons card collection.

People find important subjects in professional and personal life interesting. Something that has significant impact on their lives. You can make anything important with the right presentation, that is a creative task that happens intuitively or contemplatively.

You can get to the point where you can befriend anyone, no matter. However, it does require the ability to be an asset in that person’s life.
