I met this girl a few months ago and never thought anything of her. We began hanging out with mutual friends and soon enough we started doing things alone. We have probably hung out a total of 7 times before this weekend when we finally kissed. Since I never really got a chance to "court" her I offered to take her on a date. Here is the dilemma; I know the girl pretty well so do I take her on a romantic/casual date or just something spontaneous and fun. I've done fun stuff with her so I feel like something simple where we can just sit and talk with each other would be nice. But at the same time I might be coming off as a guy who can't come up with something fun to do when we actually go on a date.

To be clear, I'm not looking for actual date ideas but rather what type of date. Dinner and a movie type or something that pertains to both of our interests? I appreciate your thoughts ahead of time!

Edit: Adding a bit of detail to this. We are both in our mid twenties and the date is on a Friday night. Edit: Just when I posted that she texted me and asked if I had figured out what we were going to do. Not sure if that actually changes anything but it changed my mind a little. I'm curious to see what you think.
