I have a limiting belief where I think that if I spend intimate time with a girl or invest a lot of time in her (go on dates, hang out a lot, etc.) I'm going to be locked into a relationship.
I don't know if it's just my ego talking, but I feel like any girl who gets to know me is going to want to be my boyfriend.
The problem with this is, I think that girls I only want to have sex with and NOT be in a relationship with are going to get too attached. I don't want to lead them on and be forced into something I don't want to be in.
It's happened before where I've been talking to a girl and I clearly tell her "I don't want a relationship" but she still acts like she's my girlfriend and wants me to visit her at her job and meet her family and all that. I end up not doing anything with them and cut it off because I don't want to look like a fuck boy if I just hit it and quit it.
Logically this makes no sense and I know I'm 110% overthinking this, but this has been a limiting belief that's held me back for a while now.
Whenever I can take things to the next level with a girl I end up not doing anything because of the fear I'm going to get wrapped up into a relationship.
** BTW I notice this only happens with girls I'm not totally attracted too. With girls I'm 100% into, these thoughts don't come up in my head and I wouldn't mind making them my GF. Maybe I'm not talking to attractive enough girls?
Henry Ford has a famous quote that goes "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right!" and I know this limiting belief is holding me back from my full potential.
Any advice you can give me help break through this?
