Just trying to play my cards right. I’ve been out the dating scene for several years.

-Went to a family bday Sunday. There was a daughter of a family friend there. -Heard her name over the years, but never met her before. Turns out she’s a fox. -Been trying to get out there again, so decide to take my shot. -Goes well. We talk for the rest of the party. Maybe 1.5 hours. (My cousin who knows her says she is normally not that chatty). -Grab her number. Make tentative plans for this Thursday. -Tentative as she is traveling to get some dental work done during the day (common in my area, as it’s cheaper). Doesn’t know when she’ll be back exactly, or how she’ll feel.

So my question: do I not text her until Thursday (to appear busy/not desperate, I guess), or text her before to have some contact before then?

If so what do I say? “It was nice meeting you. See you Thursday.” (?)
