Have you tried applying the lessons you learned on seduction to your every day life? Many of the lessons on seduction can be applied to every day situations, such as social circles, the work place (if you do have a job on the side) and group project settings for class. Rather than merely filling your head with the knowledge of seduction exclusively using it on girls, go out there and just live life! Apply what you know wherever you go, the benefit being an enhanced social experience overall, a better sense of confidence and well being among peers when you need to be taken seriously, and the practice will pay off for when you do encounter that lady you have your eye on!

It gets easier! Both with time/age/experience, which allows you to better control your emotions and mental processes, as well as hormones, which right now are likely driving your every thought. It's a struggle, but practice discipline where you can, take practical steps to separate areas of your life, and remember to think about the long game -- better to work on the assignment now, since there will always be girls about.

A few practical tips:

Separate areas of your life. When you study, do it in the library or an isolated place with your phone turned off.
Reward yourself for work but NOT BEFORE. For example, allow yourself to do 30 mins of pickup after 2 hours of study.
Concentrate on the reward of what you're doing (the great assignment grade or whatever) and downplay what your hormones are saying about girls.

This stuff isn't pickup specific. Any book on success or goal-setting will give you some good ideas.

If you're 18, my general advice is to stop over thinking and just get out there and try. Try everything! I'm still talking with guys in their late 30s that still have issues on this stuff. So your only goal at this point is to get as much experience as possible.

If you find yourself thinking about it too much, put your mind to work on something else. A hobby, sport, an educational interest, novels, whatever. If you're feeling lonely, go out with friends. The faster you're able to balance your life with multiple activities, the more appealing and more interesting you'll become. When you have all of these experiences built up, you'll find it is much easier to talk to people and relate to them.

I've been involved with the seduction community for close to two years and now run boot camps in NYC teaching guys seduction. As I first got better I realized I saw things differently. I stopped seeing women, I only saw targets. It took a while before I was able to balance my personal life with the pick up world. I did it by making a simple rule for myself; to stop asking for numbers unless you're genuinely interested in the girl. Being able to pick up most women call's for a tremendous amount of responsibility. You meet many women with husbands, boyfriends, or other relationship's and you have the ability to mess with that.
