There's a cute girl I've talked to at a few kickbacks recently, and, deciding to experiment, I told a mutual friend to ask her what she thought of me. She said, "He's alright...there's just nothing really about him".

The frustrating thing is, when I'm intoxicated I'm fairly "natural"; I can draw state from within and get girls in long engaging conversations. BUT I've made a commitment to abstain from alcohol since I don't want to have to use it as a crutch. As a result, apparently I'm coming across as a boring person.

Part of me wants to revert back to my booze-bangin self but the nobler part of me wants to figure out how to get the same results just by being sober llbeanfan. Do you guys have any tips for getting into a similar state as an intoxicated, open mindset while sober? I think a lot of it is my natural introvertedness and AA which booze washes away but which remain when I don't have it.

Sorry if this is an AskSeddit post.
