So treat the first interaction like a date?

You have a document with each girl and the conversations you've had. You need to really evaluate what you're doing here. Don't be a robot. I've seen 3-4 girls at the same time and it's a waste of time and money. Anything more just tells me you don't have any hobbies besides going on dates. Maybe have a couple girls on the go, but don't fucking track the dates like they are meetings.

Few things in the past year. 1. Started up a new business with some friends 2. I'm running a men's flag football team. 3. Played in intramurals for squash and basketball. 4. Doing those small races like spartan race or mud hero. 5. Find something unique in my city to bring my friends or gf to (this relates to the business idea) 6. Participate in work related events to network

Long story short, one of us got the girls number and he asked her to rate us. Carl was picked the lowest because she said he came across too needy, and you say carl is the one who is needy. What is wrong with you? Have some respect for yourself, and your friends. Stop treating women like a high risk commodity. They are PEOPLE, and women want to communicate like people. You talk all this garbage about saying the craziest shit, but you come off as some circus freak looking for attention. This is p…

I feel like a cheap idiot if I don't Why do you feel this way. Think about this. Is this approval seeking behaviour? I know I'm not answering your question, but take a step back. Why are you boxing yourself into this 'dinner' mentality. Go for drinks. Go for a walk. Go for coffee. Go to a comedy show. Try inexpensive dates. I make 3x more money than my gf and we try to keep it 50/50. Even though she can't afford a lot of stuff, she tries to make it up in other ways (i.e cooking me meals).

It wasn't put in the best terms, but the message was conveyed and it was reciprocated... and that's all that matters. Personally, I would have said (in-person) that "im in a stage in my life where I don't want to be in a relationship, but I enjoy being with you, so if you're up for some fun - let's keep this going". Saying you purely want her for fooling around is way too direct. you need be careful with your words, there's a lot of social stigma around men using girls for sex.
/r/seduction30/03/14 11:18 PM

That is not GAME, that is lack of respect for your woman. A woman wants to be protected and wants to know if you're interested in her. You drop her off with some stranger, are you some kind of moron? This is the worst advice, please don't do this.
/r/seduction28/03/14 09:45 PM

this is not a chore, you want to enjoy it. are you doing it because you're scared or tired? Try to differentiate that feeling

Not sure if this is a brag post, but it sure as hell sounds like it. You meet these girls who like you, yet you can't communicate a simple fact about yourself? Interesting.

I can't speak for him, but maybe he never experienced different girls? The "what if" mentality can eat you alive
/r/seduction03/03/14 06:35 PM

Can you blame them? I was there at one point, maybe you were too. Coming from a lonely guy who struggled to talk to girls, to having moderate success, I believed in this. But every guy NEEDS to go through this at some point of their lives. Why? Because that thought of fucking every girl is a glamorous lifestyle every guy is subjected to... Once you pass that phase, and meet an amazing girl, you will be completely content and never have to second guess being in a relationship.

I read somewhere that you need to keep a girl on the defensive, so I sort of played it like a chess game. Shit like this makes me so frustrated. First, girls are not a game that you "win or lose". Second, being aggressive and putting her on the defensive sounds incredibly inappropriate. Smarten up, you're not here to make a girl uncomfortable

/r/seduction22/02/14 09:15 PM

I don't think you understand. This FR, if you want to call it that doesn't involve any use of game. A girl messaged YOU first on OKC, which is incredibly rare for most guys. All you had to do is not fuck up. correlation does NOT mean causation

I'm just finishing up a long day at work, so this probably isn't very organized, so bare with me. Do you mind getting into this? You mean that you just let someone into your world? How and when do you start "opening up"? This all depends on your mentality to game and pickup, because I can bet you a lot of people here will say, don't open up till the 10th date, or stay mysterious, she'll want you more, etc.. And they just play this mental game. This mentality is toxic when you want to develop a l…

You seem like a very logical person, which is why you may be struggling with this concept. Attracting and seducing a girl is mostly done within the first few interactions, and I can understand why routines, logistics, and general tips can be VERY helpful in pulling a girl into your world. But when I mention vulnerabilities, it's not just talking about your emotions. It's about talking about your values, your preferences, your family, etc.. everything that makes you special. I can see the value o…

I completely get what you're getting at and it's the problem with seduction. It's refined to deal with the 'beginning stages' because that's where 90% of men struggle. I find myself rarely coming back to this sub because I'm in a LTR and all the posts focus on approaching, hooking up and routines.. From what I've experienced, the fundamentals of being a confident man will always remain, but how you connect with your woman is completely different. It's more about being emotionally open, without t…

I thought of bringing up all these points to her in a whiny monolog. I realized that wouldn’t solve anything, so I didn’t Listen, this is a HUGE red flag. Forget game, forget pickup and now focus on COMMUNICATION. If you're ever upset, or if there is anything you just wanna get off your chest, communicate that to your girl. Even if it doesn't involve her, it can really take the burden off yourself. Think about yourself for a moment. Do you ever want to worry about what to say and what not to say…
/r/seduction29/01/14 09:10 PM

I think it's the opposite. If you haven't been dating a lot of girls you don't know much "standards" to go off. If you reach LTR with different girls you develop a good understanding what you want and don't want. This list isn't meant to be a metric you follow by heart but a guideline to see if the girl fits into what you want. This doesn't work for everyone, and I accept that, but I don't think anyone can paint it as a completely useless task
/r/seduction18/01/14 04:45 PM

Like any skill, it takes time. You're going to fail, you're going to keep failing but eventually you'll learn. EVERYONE goes through this. You think the 160k people here kept failing? Nope, they struggled and the eventually got better. I guarantee you will too if you keep doing it. I was in the same boat, but my two friends who I started gaming with had incredible success and progressed faster than me. You know how discouraging that can be? It felt like someone was wrong with me. Don't give up, …

This is a great read, and I love the mentality except for this quote It is as if the dog women want to be treated like beauties (with flowers and chocolates) while the beautiful women want to be treated like dogs (mistreated, hurt, kicked). Anyway, the anti-dump machine is a key component in developing yourself into a confident man, but there's a ton of amazing women who pass that second, third, 20th date but don't end up suiting your needs. And that's where I think a list like mine is helpful

I've kind of answered this in another post, but I'll summarize. Once you start dating different girls, you'll realize what you want and don't want. If she doesn't like travelling and you do (and you can negotiate with that) you'll probably be fine. But it's important to note what is NOT negotiable and what you prefer in a woman. And when you find a girl who fits all your non-negotiables and is willing to move a little on your negotiables, that's a keeper. This is purely for long-term monogamous …
/r/seduction16/01/14 05:37 PM

YMMV, but bringing up the topic with your gf/wife can really be beneficial. If it's something can be worked on or is negotiable, talk to her about it. I talked to my GF and told her she needs to push me more to be better, and she really took that to heart and wants to help me be better. Encourage her to make a list too.

The mentality "be patient and you'll meet the perfect girl" is so misunderstood but so useful. Its not meant to sit on your ass and randomly while you're hanging out the girl of your dreams will come find you. It's more like, life your life, develop a purpose and try to genuinely connect with people without having some objective to get her/him to be your mate, best friend, travel buddy, etc... He's not forsure an alcoholic. He's a person who is 'stuck' in an environment of drinking and partying. His friends are the reason why he doesn't feel the need to move on. If he filled his life with different hobbies and interests that do not involve drinking, I'm willing to bet his drinking will go down severely (if not completely). If his environment is not completely dependant on alcohol, he shouldn't have this necessity to drink. If the dependency of drinking doesn't change, I'll agree with …

the trickiest part is getting through that initial interaction so the girl can see those qualities. that's why you have r/seduction, my friend. That's why we are all here, so we can showcase our best qualities.

I think it's completely short-sighted and ignorant to say one of the talked about topic is completely nothing to someone who hasn't experienced it at all. I appreciate OP attempt to help people, but you don't tell a casual gym goer to bench 4 plates his first week. it's a progression and that's how I conquered my fear of being a virgin

I don't know if /r/seduction has always been this way, but I've been noticing this trend in the last few months. It's more focused on having as many relationships, fucking different girls and finding tips and tricks to get laid. It's typical old school PUA thinking coming back (or maybe it never left). seddit preaches models by mark manson, but then you see posts like these completely negating the development of PUA.

I challenge you to try this. I want you to go up to a girl and talk to her, talk to her until she voluntarily leaves. If she leaves, move on, perfect. But I want you to challenge your boundaries. I'm guessing (correct me if i'm wrong) but that you look for positive signs, and when you don't you get somewhat uncomfortable. When you're uncomfortable you exit. It's a natural tendency, but try to push yourself to feel uncomfortable moreso than before.

Couple thoughts. 1. Do you get anxious talking to random strangers or just women? Because a huge step into improvement is being able to talk to all different types of people. I know it sounds more fun & exciting to talk to attractive women, but don't limit your crowd. What are your goals with this? I'll tell you that if you keep looking at their signs and signals you will have "analysis into paralysis". Just go for it, try to reach your goals. Have fun man. Man some of these comments are completely ridiculous. Game isn't a gauge and you just turn the valve off. I'm really worried about people who have this alter ego called "game". You shouldn't be changing yourself, the techniques you used to attract her were methods to show your true self, you didn't put on a show, nor did you deceive her. You just showed your interesting self better than the other guys. Now you're in a relationship, I hope the whole game aspect wasn't a facade now you can show yo…

I hear this a lot, but I don't think this happens to men our age (I can't speak for women). Men who haven't had sex and are in the 23+ age range have developed that sense of independance, and in most cases their happiness is not reliant of a relationship. Most men will be liberated by the idea of losing their virginity like it's a weight off their shoulders.

You're probably making her feel uncomfortable, and that's why she leaves. Don't be discouraged, it takes time to understand what works and what doesn't. first off, don't have this mentality that you are bad at remembering names. it just provides support when you allow yourself to forget their names. try repeating their name and use it in a conversation after they mentioned it. spell it out in your head, do whatever you think can help you learn. figure out how you learn to remember things and use those methods. if you are consciously try to remember names, you should be fine.

I don't understand. The whole point of seduction is that you're constant seeking self-improvement. So you've decided that you consistently get laid, now you've won? Game over? You can turn into AFC again? You knock yourself down in every point in the post, you still have confidence issues clearly. Are you so scared of failure that you want to quit while you're ahead?

I have a similar relationship with my mother. Very strict, very religious and I don't have any sisters. It took me awhile to properly socialize with women. My friend who has an amazing relationship with his mom, and has a sister is the complete opposite, and has never struggled with women. Could be very well true

I visited Copenhagen and probably wouldn't go back there again. The lifestyle has such a "hipster" vibe to it, everyone's smoking and everyone's riding their bikes. As far as I'm concerned there are not many night clubs but tons of bars/pubs. But they are filled with smokers and you'll reek of cigarettes 10 min within the joint. Girls seem open to have conversation and my buddy almost pulled in our first night. It's completely not my style that's why I didn't enjoy Copenhagen. But it's not like …

Such a short video and very interesting points. I agree with the demise of guys, but his supporting arguments are hard to justify. If you ever read "Everything good is bad for you" by Steven Johnson, you will notice that there are numerous cognitive benefits to video games and computers. Of course abuse of this can be a detriment, but abuse of anything can be. He also never mentioned a huge factor in the demise of guys....women. I can't speak for other cities, but toastmasters can get repetitive and not very challenging. I did it for a month and I can't say I'm a very strong speaker, but I feel like I wasn't gaining anything after awhile. I saw a ton of benefit in improv classes, it makes you think on your feet and challenges you to alter your energy levels based on the scene. Works on voice projection, conversing with people in different games/situations. Hell, do both if you want massive improvement, but improv classe…

I can relate to you in this same scenario. Girls say I'm hard to read and I'm not affectionate enough. First I thought it was just a clingy girl, but it's happening over and over. The problem about ego boostsare that you are at the mercy of your ego. You get some great compliments, your ego is at an all time high. You get blown out of sets repetitively, girls call you ugly, creeper, etc, your ego is at an all time low. I'd suggest working on your inner game and ultimately being content with who you are. I can empathize. I hate going on dates, and it's a combination of bored of dating and finding good date ideas. I would suggest getting some good key date ideas down that can be easy to build comfort and attraction. Take a date to these locations so you are comfortable with the venue, and you may not feel the idea of dating so mentally/physically taxing. One you find a few solid locations/idea, you're good to go. If you feel mentally not there, then it's a different story. Recheck what you value …

In addition to this: Don't get stuck in the hostel mentality. It's so easy to be comfortable with a fun party scene/get laid, but don't make it an everyday thing. You spent money to see the country, so see it. This may not be so common in SE Asia, but in Europe it was a plague you had to avoid.

How can you ever know she's the best unless you meet and date other girls. It not only let's you see how the girl is relative to others, but it allows you develop your preferences in terms of what values you seek in a girl. There's always going to be unique cases where a guy meets his first girlfriend and she happens to be everything you want. Most people don't even know what they want. If a guy gets hung up over a girl while she doesn't reciprocate, she isn't as special as you think, and that's…

This may be completely different than other people's views, but if i try to set up a plan and she says she is "too busy" or gives another silly excuse, i drop it and either let her offer a different day or completely never hear from her again. I'm more into the assertive girls, so this may not be the case if you're into the shy girls. Keep in mind though, you shouldn't be having to put so much effort if you built attraction and comfort in the initial meeting

I like your idea, especially because it's an idea that could yield positive feedback, but the fastest way to learn is to approach, approach, approach. I think this is what I struggled with. I made it clear before anything sexual happened that I don't want to get into a relationship and she said she understood me, but still gave the impression she wanted a relationship. Could you explain why these guys are AFCs? I find this quite frequent in FR's lately (not only you) which essentially put people down with quick and mostly unfounded assumptions. Talk more. You naturally have a filter, and when you get into conversation you end up running out of things to say because your filter doesn't let anything out. After talking more, you will be more conscious of what you don't end up saying and at that point you have to prevent your filter from kicking in. This may sound weird, but try it out. Try to talk about anything, whatever you want.

perhaps you have high expectations of every situation and you dwell on it when it doesn't turn out the way you want. maybe just trying to enjoy the moment, and be happy you are doing something. positive reinforcement is the best way to better yourself

I was in a similar situation for a while. You simply need to talk to him and let him know this is getting under your skin. He is your friend be a bit more understanding. My best friend was dating a girl for a few years, and every time we would go out, he would tell me what to say, and how easy it was to pick up girls. He said he'd wing me in a 3 set, but I ended up taking 2 girls and he would be flirting with one girl. He talked about how easy he could pick up any girl if he didn't have a gf and…

Look at it this way. You're not gonna get any hookups at night if you're not enjoying yourself. So might as well focus your energy where you know you can succeed in. There are many avenues for success, don't be forced into nightclubs because everyone else is doing it.

I agree with the sentiment "stop caring. don't give a fuck. man up" But these are really open statements that don't have any really guideline to follow. For someone who cares a lot and/or thinks a lot, this is not a switch you can flip. From what I read you understand fundamentally why you are like this, but like asshowl said, you need to set some goals to slowly progress. You can read everything on seddit and say you know it, but it really means nothing until you incorporate it. So start off sl…

Even though the 'drink less' mentality is advocated in r/seduction, you are very true in the sense that drinking and conforming to your environment will always make it easier. Girl A is drinking, Guy A is drinking. it's definitely more easier to get 'in-state' when you are part of the environment. anyways, for a short-term easy goal, this is good advice. but a lot of people here want long-term/lifestyle goals that they can translate into different life problems.

This really comes down to the type of people you are dealing with. I don't believe this is a common trait in women, but it happens to be more noticeable in women. A very similar situation happened to me, where the girl didn't end up showing and she had little to no remorse about it. People like this are generally different minded people without any sense of empathy. They don't understand people's feelings, nor do they want to deal with it. Also, these people are generally irresponsible. I bet OP…

A lot of stuff is going in this post. Why did you have to ask your friend to see if she thinks you're interesting. This is a weak move, and more highschoolish. Because of this, the girl gave an answer which may or may not be genuine because she doesn't want to seem 'too interested'. It also shows that you don't have the confidence to show your interest to her. Now you're contemplating the values you've developed based off ONE girl (or potential girls). This is weak. The values that you develop a…

I like the sentiment, but 'keeping it on' is such a weird way to say it. This is a lifestyle. You're not gonna 'keep it on' every time you go out. If you're reverting back to your AFC self, it's probably something more fundamental that is nagging at you. Don't fake it till you make it, just make a full commitment to this. Sure there are small things, but those are just bad habits you've formed. Everyone should be capable of changing bad habits. A good comparison is fitness. I see so many people …

First initial interaction was a big dinner table where we haven't been introduced. I ask some questions about her and make a couple jokes that were completely harmless. try going to a gym and getting a spot. a lot of time people are preoccupied by talking to their friend, or just focusing on their music/weights. just say anything, people will shift their attention to you regardless of the conversation. i got to the gym alone, and always need a spot. about 95% of the time, the person gives you their entire attention, and will be engaged regardless of what you say.

you're fortunate, seems like girls only to do this to 1. guys she really wants to talk to 2. guys she thinks is a sucker. i think girls get some satisfaction thinking they are hot enough to get a drink bought for them. either or, these girls are just plain silly
/r/seduction10/11/12 03:51 AM

if girls want to make time for you, they will. it's all about how you developed the attraction the first time you met her. if you didn't do a solid enough job, she's not gonna be motivated to meet up with some randy. people are not as busy as you think they are, it's the perception that allows you to justify their actions
/r/seduction08/10/12 04:58 AM

Why do you think most relationships end? Probably because they are not compatible, maybe one has a lot of issues, maybe one is completely unfaithful. Regardless of how two people break up, a lot of them have left over feelings. There is nothing wrong with that, but the actions we pursue based off our emotions result in even more emotional chaos. I think it's important to note that being completely unreactive and ignoring your feelings is just as bad as being overly emotional. Generally, I think,…

Maybe you should separate the idea of a salesman and the idea of approaching. I'm not entirely sold on the idea that I need to sell myself to a girl, and that I need to 'not fuck it up'. I'm trying to see if the girl has a good personality, while at the same time see if we can develop a connection. If I can get her number, sweet. Calling is great and all, but some girls just don't respond well to it. Just recently I called her, and she replies with a text "sorry i missed your call, whats up?" I call her back after that text, again goes to voicemail. sometimes it works, it's probably best to start off calls instead of texting

You're probably going to be a shitty roommate if this is the first time living on your own. Plus, you don't anything about this person. What if this girl is psycho, dirty, or a tightass? Don't move out because you want a place for girls to come over. Move out because you want independence.

I've looked through that sub, and it's dumb. looking at pictures, reading words, listening to stories is just a way to temporary gain motivation. everyone is motivated by something, it's just that most people have no direction and it's scary to them. i know how ironic it is for me to type this out, but motivation is a tricky subject. If you ever want to learn about the psychological aspect of motivation, check out maslows hierachy of needs, self-determination theory or even congnitive dissonance…

This conversation gives off the vibe that they haven't really seen each other that often, and are still getting to know each other. Either way, good job on feeling better about yourself. I would really try to focus on minimizing text-game and focus on seeing her more often. It gives you more to talk about inperson and it reduces the chances of getting another text buddy

I didn't stick with acting classes because I was doing improv at the same time. No it wasn't through a CC, it was done externally. I did toastmasters for a bit, which was awesome. You may be in a state where you can separate your relationships from your work, but can she? You have a responsibility to work successfully with and without your co-workers. if a personal relationship were to affect your work negatively, it'd take a huge toll on you as a person. i don't see the NEED to hook up with people you work with, people only do it because it's easier to build a connection with a person you spend 8 hrs a day with.

it's not love, its infatuation. the idea of having a connection to a woman is thrilling to the average male, and if it happens so infrequently, it's a feeling of euphoria. I know what the guy is going through, i'm in the process of getting it though my head that the feelings she generated are actually self-inflicted. the connection was real, but building it up to be more than it is, makes you delusional. don't get ahead of yourself, try to keep a level head and be very conscious of the 'feelings…

Nothing wrong with it, I have a couple girls who I think are interested in me (so many clear hints) but I enjoy the friendship way more. It's easier to joke around and have fun conversation, but thats all I want from it.

I just can't take what women say they want to heart. It's just that they don't know how their emotions work. If they did, they would be running PUA and all seduction communities. However, I do agree confidence is a huge factor in attraction but falling in love within two minutes? I'm not so sure about that.

i feel like we had the exact same night. almost identical. i felt pretty shit tonight and didn't even sleep. I feel better than i can relate, but at the same time there is no reason to mop around and feel sorry for yourself. keep your head up high and learn from it. part of a bruce lee quote sticks out in my mind. “I am learning to understand rather than immediately judge or to be judged. i think i already knew this subconsciously, but seeing it on paper makes it a little hard to swallow. besides that, its good to know where you stand and what is necessary. there is no point in feeling sorry for myself because it won't bring anything good out of it, so there is no choice essentially

don't think so much. focus on your inner game (confidence) and let the rest flow. if you see an attractive girl, talk don't think. alot of the sidebar is overwhelming but if you complement it with experience and slowly incorporate it, you'll be alot better.

This happens alot to me too, and i think its the lack of comfort. From her perspective, she doesn't want to commit to dancing with one guy when she doesn't feel comfortable with him (he may be boring). good opener, but dig a little deeper and get her to joke around more. then when she knows a little more about you, proceed to the dance floor and show her your moves!

this! living in a majorly white community, it takes more effort! It does happen and ever girl I've dated has been white, but whenever I meet a brown girl, they are so much easier to take down. Perhaps it has to deal with that im not as attracted to brown girls as I am to white girls

This may sound a little backwards but I think you need to experience oneitis more than once. I think finding that special girl that you want so bad can be beneficial for you. If you experience this more often, it makes it easier to detach yourself from it. Everyone has had that one girl you went crazy over and it probably took you forever to get over her, but what if this happens more and more often. I'm a rAFC, but I've experience this so often that I just know when its happening and I'm done w…

I think the kneel once is from the office but I still like it. I want to change it a bit, let me know what you think.... To make sure her body is fulling facing you and you have her full attention you start off with "Hey HB7...." and give a huge pause, then continue with "will you" then you kneel down on one knee and then go on with "wait for me while i tie my shoes?" and you go with your line for the finish and say "this is the part you say yes...."

So now I overcompensate by trying to be the guy who's just there having fun with his friends...which isn't necessarily the wrong thing to do, but I take it too far. I think this is the hardest realization. I've been friends with the same people for 8 years and it was a tough to see them ditching out on my plans just because they wanted to do something else. Don't sweat it, just make sure you spend your time meeting new people and don't completely ignore your old friends, just let them invite you to stuff and join them when you have nothing else to d…

The only problem I have is that I know so many people at the gym, that I have to train when no one is around! Otherwise I would spend all my time talking to everyone. The best way to get out of conversations is to say this "Hey I'm about to do a set, but let me know if you need a spot". It works out perfectly, you get to do your set and makes sure they aren't offended

I know this exact set, because I was on a ski trip with a guy in your shoes. To say you were making everyone uncomfortable is irrelevant at this point, but the way he handled it was exactly like you. Sorry to say you didn't play this right and I hope you eventually realize that you don't give respect to anyone who doesn't give you respect. the guy calls you out and embarrasses you and you apologize? I would of just ignored him.

I make sure I don't give too much care for random guys at bars/parties. I will be polite and go along for a joke, but i'm not gonna pretend i'm their friend. One time I was talking to a girl beside the bar and some guy beside me was tapping my shoulder. I look over and hes says 'come on hold my drink while i hug my buddy here' and I turn away and continue my conversation. He starts talking trash and going all crazy because I wouldn't hold his drink.

Its unfortunate, but don't beat yourself up. I wouldn't base your mood on the satisfaction of getting a girls number or generally relying on other people to find your source of happiness. This is getting into a different topic, but what i'm trying to say, it's not a big deal, it happens but just learn from it and move on. If you happen to find a girl and get her number, not a big deal and don't put all your eggs in one basket
/r/seduction04/08/11 05:50 PM

Perhaps while you're in that moment, try to visualize how you will feel 10 minutes later without a phone number? This works wonders for me for the gym if i just wanna miss a workout. I imagine myself feeling groggy, weak and out of shape if I don't go. That gives me motivation to go and I end up feeling amazing after. Think about it next time, and imagine how stupid you'll feel later(Not that you are).
