I'm a 21 year old male, attending a university in the city, I live in an apartment on campus surrounded by a lot of ladies, and I'd consider myself good looking and not socially awkward (but not outgoing). Seems like I'd be swimming in women right? Wrong.

However, there's a lot going against me. I've been in two back to back long term relationships from when I was 17 up to 2 weeks ago. During which time I committed everything to them and put them before my social life. As a result, I'm left with hardly any friends and zero female prospects.

I've made the decision that I'm going to pursue the single life for awhile. Anyways here's my dilemma...where do I begin? I don't have a group of friends to go out with, there's hardly any attractive girls in my classes, and I don't get informed of parties going on around campus. I know I have plenty of options being my age and in my location but I have some issues:

I would personally feel really weird about going to a bar by myself. I feel like I would just be sitting there and people would think I'm weird.

I know online dating is always an option, but someone in my situation should really get out and find people.

How does this whole single thing work? I know that I have no excuse, but I'm really bad at this. Give me a game plan Reddit.

tl;dr I've never really lived the "single life", don't have many friends, where do I begin?
