Recently I got to know a really cool guy. He got to see my cool personality as well, how fun I can be and how funny I am. I always make him laugh so now he thinks I'm cool as well. So he decided to introduce me to his friends/social circle. He now invites me when they're all hanging out or have some type of event. The problem is, I never really been a part of any social circle and I have no idea how to handle it. Things I discovered so far: 1- I'm always nervous/intimidated around them 2- I'm always reacting/in spectator mode 3- Girls treat me like a stranger, they're not comfortable around me 4- Some guys straight don't like me and they made it clear 5- I'm not able to just let go and display my cool personality, I feel judged 6- I'm not able to lower the bar, I feel like I have to impress them/win them over

I'm still trying though. I make a few jokes here and there and have them all laughing but it's a bit hard for me.

Do you please have any tips for me to sort of fit in and have them accept me?
