Newbie looking to learn and practice

So, I'm sure other people will give different advice the longer the post is up, but I think this is the best way to look at.

You don't want to get stuck in the loop of constantly reading books and articles from different "experts". Deep down, I think everyone already knows what they're supposed to do. A failing student already knows what he needs to get the A's. A fat person already knows what he needs to do to lose weight. You already know what you have to do to get a girl. The only thing you are doing is trying to find someone to tell you an easier way to do it. Want better grades? Start studying and stop procrastinating. Want to lose weight? Eat less junk and exercise. Want a girl? Go talk to one. It's a very simple process. You don't need 20 people to tell you the same thing in a different way. All 3 of those examples come down to mindset.

Now, this isn't to say reading is completely pointless. There are certainly sources out there that will help you. However, getting actual practice in the field is going to do more for you than just constantly reading articles or watching YouTube videos. If you wanted to learn how to shoot a basketball, how would you do it? Would you just analyze a professional like Lebron shoot all the time, or would you go to a court and shoot free throws? Watching Lebron can help you with learning the fundamentals and mindset, but no amount of watching him will improve your shot. You have to go practice.

Honestly, all you need to do is just get comfortable with the idea of meeting and talking to women. Just go out and try to spark up conversations with women. You don't need to sleep with them, you don't need their number, you just want to get used to being a generally social person. Get a name, make some small talk, say bye, and move on to some other girl. The more often you talk to women, the more confident you'll be around them. There is no phrase or opening that will work on all women. Some will like you , some won't. That's just how it is. But yeah man, just be more outgoing and talk to them. You don't need anything fancy. Talk to them, do some kino, tell them you're interested. That's all it is.
