Good question. I did, but due to work and other things I've had about two months off. I am starting again soon though so maybe my frame of mind will change again. Not that I want it to, just that it could.

Erm. Maybe I wrote this wrong. Most of the time I don't 'slam ass' because I'm just not bothered. I usually bail out before. I'd love somebody to relate to, but I don't know, maybe I just need to find more people that I find interesting. That's my point, sorry.

Haha yea but I guess my worry was if I've never met them before, a hug to a complete stranger might be odd for them. Usually I've already met the girl so it seems more appropriate you know? To be honest man don't over think it, I find the conversation just happens and you run it from there. I usually let them do most of the talking and it seems to have worked so far! Just be confident/comfortable in yourself and it'l be fine!

Sweet. I do love a hug, so this just confirms my decision to hug. Thank you my man!

Aye that's what I thought but wasn't sure if a hug is a bit too much. Fuck it, I'll give it a whirl :) Tar.

Thanks for the detailed reply. In this situation I see it more being a potential relationship, but I'm in no means that way inclined atm - more somebody I'd like to carry on dating and see what happens. I agree whole heartedly about it being how you say it. In this instance we were talking seriously about things so I was honest & open, and just genuinely not bothered. Confidence is key I guess. I guess it depends on the girl as well, if this bothers her. Then I'll move onto the next one. Thanks …

Just curious here (incase it come across differently), how long has it taken to build up that many?

Can vouch. Broke from a 2 year relationship for very similar reasons. Did those things. Over that girl now.

Well I'm barely even on it, the news come through a friend and I have her 'unfollowed' or something? But yes I definitely get what you're saying. Thanks for all the support buddy. I know I'll probably stumble and fall at some point but I'll keep on walking this path. Eventually I'll be where I'm working myself towards.

My experience in picking up chicks is pretty low. But my experience in social situations is decent. It's just a mindset. Go out with the intentions of enjoying yourself and being genuinely curious about other people. Don't set yourself goals of numbers, or kisses, or you know - the deed. Just go out for YOU. You'll probably make a fool of yourself or do something stupid, but it's funny and you'll learn. You'll get there, we're all on a path and if you keep walking you'll slowly but surely get fu…

Thanks man. I'll do all those things. It's the fact that she's rubbing it in my face, plastering it on FB. What kind of person does that? Fine she's in a relationship, good for her, but seriously? Anyway I'm just ranting now. I ain't gonna let this bother me, I'm actually over the relationship for the most part now. It's just the lies and shit that hurting me. Thanks for the support man! Looking forward to hitting it up from now on. I compromised myself too much for that girl, not anymore.

Yea that's what worries me. I think I've been blagging my way through the nights at the minute. Although having said that I've not thought much about it because I'm generally quite like that anyway, and the fact that it's more acceptable, and more of a high energy situation. That's why the day scares me to death, it's the opposite. But thanks for the tips, I'll definitely take it a little slower and try to be more aware of the feedback I get. I mean I'm not expecting to be groping anybody in the…

Right ok! So my best assumption would be to just go as normal, but be aware that I may or not get faster escalation options? As you said, just go with the flow, feel the situation as it happens.

Can also be the scariest for the same reason, information overload can be tough. Especially when you've been out of it for two years like me. But exactly like you say, have fun with it and grow.

Hey, I'm no expert at all. But having just come back from a music festival, don't expect or pressure yourself too much. Everyone's there in the same boat, to have fun with no expectations. So do exactly that and you'll be golden. There's no pressure, have fun and enjoy yourself, people will flock. But that's just my experience, and I'm just starting out so I could be wrong. But I'm sure the experienced guys will correct me if that's the case.

I'm just starting out and I've not really got anything to add. But just came to say this made me chuckle, and just reminded me that it's ok to fuck up. Thanks man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
