for me, practice makes perfect but you can easily perfect bad habits so make sure to learn good habits and practice those. It's ok to make mistakes just dont let it stop you from trying. And no, talking to a girl for 2 minutes and leaving is not trying. Start small, so if you go out make a goal to talk to 1 girl for 10 minutes, then 2nd night talk to 3 girls, then 3rd night, dance with a girl, then 4th night kiss someone, etc. Dont be afraid to exceed the goal, so if first night the goal is 1 girl, and you did talk to 1 for 20 minutes and you guys go your seperate ways, find another girl to talk to.

Also, the key of flirting is to just be yourself. Dont force a conversation, just treat it like your talking to a a male friend. Because with men you arent afraid of hurting their feelings over a joke, so if you can get to that same level when you talk to women, that's key.

Also dont fall in to the "i am ugly so i will never get a girl" trope that's in this subreddit from like half the guys. Looks do help, but ultimately it's your social skills that willg et you to the promise land. Unless you are an absolute stud, girls will not kiss your feet because you gota 6 pack. But the better you look the less social skills you need. So also try to improve your wardrobe a bit. Seperate weekday clothes from weekend. Get a better haircut, groom and grow your bead, buy nice smelling cologne, etc.

There are 3 types of Game + apps:

Daygame: meet girls during the day in spontaneous settings that are not otherwise designed for people to mingle. Pros: highest flexibility and freedom, Cons: hard to master. Resources: here
Nightgame: Bars/clubs: here the social aspect cannot be underplayed. Nightgame is about playing the entire club in order to gain status and then the girl. Wings are useful. Pros: once mastered can yield really high dividends, Cons: you have to deal with loud environments and the unpleasantness of the night (might be expensive as well)
Social circle game: this is about lifestyle management. Here you change your entire life to be the guy who organises events. You occupy the top spot and yield dividends from the status/power position. If you are extrovert it can be good. Otherwise way too demanding on effort. It is also the least mobile.

4 Apps: well, if you are buffed and ok with minimal connection, straight into hook up, you land here. Most men cannot pull it off

just get out there. Say hi to girls. Ask them about themselves etc. You will know very very fast (assuming you can read people even a tiny bit) whether it has a chance of going anywhere or not. If it's looking good, pepper in more intent. Make it clear you are attracted to her. Flirt. Talk to her like you would never talk to your male friends

If she's giving you one word answers (or none), never asking you a thing, not helping the convo flow at all, she's not interested. Don't waste time on her and mvoe on too a new girl you like the look of
