Well... Honestly I think you answered your own question. You took a girl to the prom who has a boyfriend so kissing one who doesn't isn't disrespectful. If she is a true friend, she would have encouraged you. But yes, shes gone. Time to move on.

Though seeing as you're a teenager you're going to try any way... So here is what I would do: message her, be casual - don't apologise, pretend As if none of that happened and chat to try to lead to meeting up. Stop hesitating... I hope you're going to college btw. You'll see plenty more HB9s there.
