I slid into someone’s dms on Facebook last week. This person lives across the country. We wound up chatting and the vibe was good. After a couple days of chatting she tells me she is going to visit her friend who lives 3-4 hrs from me for a week, and we started talking about how I could drive down to see her while she is in the area.

She is now with her friend, she is telling me now that the friend has a full schedule planned for her visit and she doesn’t think she will have time to get away and meet me during her visit here.

I said - ok. And left it at that. She is still continuing to text me but I have not responded.

Next? I thought we were Vibing very well, and I’m disappointed that I won’t be able to see her. FYI, I live in a very remote area and I have to drive pretty far to date people so, so a long drive to take someone out on a date is not unusual for me. Wondering if I should keep talking to her or if this means that I should just move on.
