So since I stared practicing pickup about 9 months ago, I find that I still have lots of interactions that fizzle out. I'm unable to reach the 'hook point'. I'm unable to get a 'fun' conversation going.

It seems that in the night game environment (even if it's a quiet bar) 'fun' is very important.

I also read about how I should avoid 'interrogation' questions / interview mode. 'Don't ask them the same questions every other guy does' (Name, where you're from, what do you do etc etc)

But then I find my self at a loss as to what I AM supposed to say after I open, and especially how to make it 'fun'.

I've been trying to find infields for help, but it seems as though about 90% of infields are from daygame, where every interaction seems to be just a standard conversation that DOES break teh above rules. They ask them what they are up too, get their name, tell them they are cute, ask for their number and then hope they get a text back.

But in nightgame with the various distractions etc, it seems that the bar raises.

Do you guys have some sort of routines in your back pockets or something?
