Just looking for a bit of advice.
So I’ve been going on a decent amount of dates recently - about 5 over the last month, 4/5 from Hinge, one I met out. (Not trying to brag at all, but just wanted to point out that all of these girls have been quite attractive to me and we have had good messages back and forth - point I’m making is that I’m not just choosing the first girl that responds)
Out of those 5, 2 of them I was interested in and wanted to see again, but I didn’t get a second date with them. One I had sex with and then she completely ghosted me, the other told me she just got friend vibes and didn’t want anything further.
I know that’s not a huge sample size, but I feel like I must be doing something wrong?
I genuinely think I have a good balance of humour, banter, listening/showing interest, sharing things about myself, etc. but idk, now 5 dates later I feel like I must be doing something wrong. Not just these dates but my lack of dating success in general - I think there’s some part of my personality that is putting people off.
If I had to guess, sometimes I am a little dry/sarcastic, however on both of these dates we were both laughing a lot and had good banter - there was no indication during the dates that there wouldn’t be a second, usually I thought I could feel that.
Before it’s suggested, no I don’t think I’m treating the girls I’m into any different or being too much of a “nice guy”
Genuinely just not sure - how should I diagnose this? I mean I’m happy with who I am, but part of me wants to ask this most recent girl if there was anything particular that made her not interested.
Thoughts? I’m probably coming off as a low-confidence rambler right now ahah, but I’m truly just trying to improve my dating life and see if I’m doing something wrong!
Thanks :)
